25 Things I Learned at 25

  1. Making new friends is fun.
  2. Getting fired is not the end of the world.
  3. It wasn’t personal.
  4. Sometimes the worst things open up opportunities to the best things.
  5. I can run my own business and I know when to ask for help.
  6. Positive yields positive.
  7. If you can’t do something, pay someone who can.
  8. Remaining sickeningly optimistic also yields positive things.
  9. Having an agent is awesome
  10. Family is everything.
  11. Weekly happy hours with friends are a necessity.
  12. Sometimes it’s ok to say “Screw it” and take the whole day off.
  13. All nighters didn’t end with college.
  14. You can’t always control what will happen to you.
  15. Dogs are also awesome.
  16. I get to do what I love everyday and I’m excited to work and that is awesome.
  17. It’s ok to be scared, and it’s ok to not have all the answers.
  18. Never take those around you for granted because they are some of your biggest supporters.
  19. Saying goodbye is never easy.
  20. Wine is wonderful.
  21. So is vodka.
  22. I have a really really bad obsession with pens.
  23. Daily practice will yield results, sometimes much faster than you expect.
  24. I can survive and thrive.
  25. I am stronger than I ever thought.
